This Sunday, October 6th, will be celebrated by churches across country and Christian tradition as World Communion Sunday. After originating with the Presbyterians in 1936, what was first known as “Worldwide Communion Sunday” gained broad acceptance as the globe plunged into World War II. As we have become more aware about how connected we are across boundaries and continents, the importance of recognizing the worldwide Body of Christ has also grown. You’re invited to worship with us at 11 am as we celebrate the gift of Christ in common with brothers and sisters across the planet.
The body of Christ, the bread of heaven + The blood of Christ, the cup of salvation
