Community Leaders Meeting image by Mike DuBose for UMNS

The team is working in Haiti today. Karen Swenson has checked in, saying:

Great day…Moved 4 piles of cinder blocks 4 church walls, then played bubbles w kids while men worked. I am bubble mum now!! Hot but good breeze. People wonderful even tho don’t speak French. Working on concrete now. Awesome!

Theme for the Day: Pray for Haitian leaders, for them to govern with truth, justice, and equity. Pray for safety and peace in homes, cities, and throughout the country.

“For the sake of my relatives and friends I will say, ‘Peace be within you.’”
Read all of Psalm 122 here.
